The city of love is absorbed in an extravaganza of art, craft, culture, cuisine, drama and music in the form of an enthusiastic and mesmerizing "Taj Mahotsav" and makes you experience the reverberating effect of the annual episode of the Taj Mahotsav. Taj Mahotsav holds a unique significance by being organized in the vicinity of Taj Mahal. This mega festival finds a prominent place in the calendar of annual events of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

Taj Mahotsav:-
2025 It will be organised from 18th Feb to 02 mar 2025 at Shilpgram near Taj Mahal east gate is a much awaited event. It's a festive introduction to India and Uttar Pradesh, and is a vibrant platform that brings together the finest Indian Crafts and cultural nuances.

Festival of Art:-
The one having a refined taste for art and its various forms will definitely be excited by the cultural evenings. Taj Mahotsav is a canvass where the classical dances and musical evenings create magic; various renowned artists from all over the country come here to perform. An intensive variety of handicrafts in Taj-Mahotsav comprises of the chikan expertise from Lucknow, silk and Zari work of Varanasi, wood- carvings of Saharanpur, Brassware and metal wares from Moradabad, handmade carpets of Bhadohi, Blue pottery of Khurja, Shawls and carpets of Kashmir and marble inlay, leather and Zardozi work of Agra and so on.

The Mahotsav is a "Shoppers delight" and so one can choose handicrafts and textiles from a wide variety adorned with traditional embroidery, ethnic jewellery etc.

Festival of Cuisine:-
Indian festivities can never be complete without the preparation of exotic cuisine. A "gourmet's delight", the Mahotsav also offers the unique redolent cuisine of U. P. The cuisine will entice you for sure. Veg or Non-veg, the choice is yours. Just relish the savors and pamper your taste buds. The Mughlai food is the prime attraction. Facilities :-
For proper safety and security of the visitors, a sufficient number of watchtowers, police station, police assistance booth, CCTV & cameras, metal detector door frames and fire fighting equipment had been arranged. Sufficient number of toilet facilities for ladies and gents are provided in the Shilpgram campus. Huge parking facility is also available around the event site. Taj Mahotsav is truly a reflection of Inia at its best with glimpses of its rich heritage and extraordinary legacies.

It was indeed a great pleasure and honor to organize 34nd year of Celebration at Shilpgram, with various cultures of different states of India met together and rainbow descended in the ever romantic land of Agra, thereby transforming the land into a heaven.

Based on the theme "Sanskriti aur Samridhi" last festival was showcased various atractive & unique crafts by more than 350 craftsmen from various states of the country, Silk and Zari work of Varanasi, Chikan expertise from Lucknow, wood/ stone carvings from Saharanpur, brassware from Moradabad, handmade carpets from Bhadohi, blue- pottery from Khurja, shawls & carpets of Kashmir and Gujarat, hand printing from Farrukhabad & Phulkari work from Punjab. Coming year too, the variety shall be intense in terms of cuisine. Be it in the vegetarian savories of Varanasi or the non-veg delicacies of Lucknow, or the variety from the Braj & Bundelkhand, the Mahotsav will have it all to pamper your taste ends.

Apart from the handicrafts & cuisine, the visitors will be able to experience the cream of Indian musicians and soul-stirring performances of folk artists of national & international repute from all over India.

The off-site viewership of the event last year was around 10 million and the footfall during the event was about 6.00 million which may certainly go up this year.
